Base pay range
$49.27/hr - $49.27/hr Job Summary:
Work Hours: Mon to Fri from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM & 40-hour work week Experience: Typically eight or more years of combined experience in business analysis, operational process improvement, project management, or an equivalent combination of technical and operational experience. Certification Requirements (Preferences): PMP certification is a plus; technical certifications are a plus; Product owner certification is preferred. Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in securing funding for upcoming projects by working with the business to gather requirements related to IT, business processes, and procedures. Collaborate with a project manager, team, and business units to gather comprehensive project requirements. Understand project objectives by shadowing various business groups to grasp their operations and needs. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert for multiple complex systems or applications. Proactively analyze client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop initiatives that enhance systems and support business strategies. Balance the needs of various clients, internal teams, and system/resource constraints to optimize system use. Lead or collaborate with internal teams to develop, prioritize, and implement initiatives. Manage communications with multiple stakeholders, adapting to their needs, and present status reports and recommendations to sponsors. Communicate effectively with IT and business units. Recommend and implement system-based solutions to address business issues proactively. Develop overall product strategies to meet business needs, leveraging available resources. Create and execute detailed project plans, including cross-functional plans. Define work requirements, value criteria, and conduct cost/benefit analyses. Identify emerging business needs and adapt plans accordingly. Prioritize initiatives to balance new functionality with maintenance and reliability. Negotiate release timings with the business and determine when functionality is ready for deployment. Manage issues logs and product backlogs, collaborating with teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure deliverables are met. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
Advanced knowledge of assigned systems and business processes. Strong decision-making skills and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in reporting, analytics, and project management. Excellent analytical thinking, consulting, and business acumen skills. Competencies in conflict management, customer focus, delegation, organization, interpersonal relationships, and influencing without authority. Top 3 Nice-to-Have Skills:
Intermediate techniques in business analysis, requirements documentation. Intermediate project and change management skills. Knowledge of crew management and outage response in utility sectors. Additional Details:
