Developer/Test Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO with 4+ years of experience for a funded contract.
This contract supports the US Space Force in scaling defensive cyber operations (DCO) product lines across the space enterprise using DevSecOps methodology and continuous integration / continuous development pipelines to rapidly deliver incremental new functionality for the DCO product lines. The salary range for this position in Colorado is estimated to be $ 100,000 - $130,000 . Final salary will be determined based on various factors. Responsibilities: Broad knowledge of a domain and a developing knowledge of additional skills related to the domain; applies standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Works as part of a team under minimal supervision/instruction on routine work, and general instructions for new work; non-routine decisions, duties, and work may be reviewed by more senior staff; monitors own progress on assigned tasks and may train and mentor new members of a team. Develops documents/artifacts, with minimum peer/Sr level review. Solves a variety of problems, applying standard professional concepts and methodologies. Works on diverse problems requiring evaluation of identifiable factors with full use and application of established practices. Requirements: 4+ years of experience Programming Languages ( at least 2 ): Java, JavaScript, HTML, & Python Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty ( required ) Certifications: Must have

ability to obtain SAFe for Teams certification Experience in the following Applications Frameworks ( at least 2 ): Eclipse, eFast, Fast, Swagger, Selenium or Postman Familiarity & Knowledge: Desired - SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, program/project management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation
