Mobile Field Engineer

Analyzing the customer requirements, converting them into system requirements, and capturing detailed design for the development team. Aid in product & feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product & software releases. Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues reported from customer labs, field sites, and the production network. Review and provide recommendations to improve UE performance by evaluating and trending key KPIs, performing trials, and providing optimization guidelines. Set up test plans to meet deadlines based on requests from the project lead. Able to determine risk items based on issues found during testing. Able to work in a mobile work environment (80% in vehicle/field, 20% in office). Job Details

W2 Role Long Term Contract Onsite Role Qualifications

Strong knowledge in 4G and 5G air interface, call processing technologies, and RAN architecture. Familiarity with UE log post-processing tools (QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, ShannonDM) and OTA signaling messages. Ability to analyze and debug IMS features like registration, VoLTE/VoWiFi, conferencing, SMS/MMS, RCS. Experience in post-processing UE logs and analyzing KPIs. Experience in LTE and 5G NR field testing in live networks. Good knowledge of 5G NSA and SA. Experience with SIM OTA Activation is a plus. Additional Details
