We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with over 8 years of experience in software development. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in core Java, Java Design Patterns, and experience with deep learning technologies. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Phoenix, AZ is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with OpenAI API for generative AI applications. Utilize Java design patterns to create efficient and reusable code. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for automation testing and deployment. Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to enhance team capabilities. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Java development, deep learning, and automation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, including core Java and Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate). Proficiency in Java design patterns and solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with deep learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus. Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration. Experience in automation testing frameworks and methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development processes. Proven experience in designing and consuming REST APIs. Understanding of generative AI concepts and applications. Preferred, but not required : Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
