Position Summary The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is an exemplary role model for professionalism, respect, customer service, compassion, and the values of Valle del Sol. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO is responsible for the overall operations of Valle del Sol Community Health Centers. The COO translates vision, mission, and strategy into operational tactics. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the COO plays a key role in strategic planning, setting agency goals and direction, and ensuring alignment with Valle's mission and vision. In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, management teams, and general staff, this position acts as a facilitator, planner, developer, communicator, and change agent to ensure the successful implementation and continuous improvement of Valle initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a health care setting, preferably an FQHC. Bachelor's degree required. MSN, MPH, MHA, or MBA preferred. Candidate Considerations This is a full-time, in-person, exempt position requiring significant time and effort. Both in-state and out-of-state travel is required.
