Duties: Responsible for the definition, design, development and successful and timely completion of major new features in current and future products. Build application workflows (APIs and services) for new feature development. Implement unit and integrations tests to maintain confidence in our platforms stability. Optimize code to improve performance and scalability and reduce infrastructure costs Implement monitoring and alerting for critical workflows and services. Debug and trace issues across multiple application modules and services Collaborate with a team of engineers to break down product requirements, identify dependencies and create implementation plans. Build shared components and/or frameworks that improve engineering productivity across the organization. Mentor teammates through pair programming and detailed feedback during code and architecture reviews. Create and maintain documentation of new and services, tools, and frameworks. Telecommuting permitted.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field plus 3.5 years of experience.
Must have experience with the following skills: 3.5 years of experience with Data Engineering 3.5 years of experience with SQL and Python. 3.5 years of experience with ETL stream/batch pipelines on big data platforms
