Job Details
Responsibilities
Independently manage a caseload of diverse employment law matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements. Engage in settlement negotiations. Lead deposition preparation, prepare for and take depositions. Oversee and adhere to litigation deadlines. Prepare for and attend mediations.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in civil litigation Employment law experience strongly preferred JD from an accredited law school Active membership in the California State Bar Familiarity with AI tools and their application in legal practice Bilingual skills in Spanish are a huge plus
