Mechanical Superintendent - Heavy Civil Construction

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in moveable bridges, gates, dams, hydropower, bridges, and power plants. Applicants should be extremely detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and capable of thinking out-of-the-box to find solutions to both routine and complex construction problems while progressing the project. Preferred experience includes heavy civil projects around dams, hydro facilities, water/wastewater facilities, and fish hatcheries. Key skills include understanding dewatering, excavation, large diameter pipe installation, and complex concrete structures (new build or restoration/renovation). This position requires 100% travel. Responsibilities:

Enforce safety and quality control policies among employees and subcontractors to ensure smooth and timely project execution. Direct workflow according to the project schedule and communicate priorities to staff and subcontractors. Maintain a daily diary of activities and site conditions; manage punch list and project closeout. Foster good relationships with subcontractors and clients. Ensure accurate daily documentation and understand subcontractor scope to prevent unnecessary change orders. Qualifications:

10–15 years of experience in moveable bridges, gates, dams, hydropower, bridges, and power plants. Positive attitude and ability to motivate onsite teams. Change management experience. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar. Willingness to travel 100% (company provides per diem for travel over 70 miles from home). Compensation Package:
