Skyworks is an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors powering the wireless networking revolution. We are
Connecting Everyone and Everything, All the Time . Join Skyworks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values open communication, trust, and respect. Be part of a talented team changing global communications. Requisition ID: 74477 EM/MCM Staff Design Engineer
If you are a motivated RF designer passionate about designing complex multi-chip modules for cellphones, we want you! You will work on RF modules, designing and analyzing circuits such as impedance matching networks, couplers, filters, and embedded passives. Your role involves exploring, prototyping RF circuits, and working closely with product teams to meet or exceed customer requirements. A deep understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF circuit design is essential, with experience in LNA, PA, or RF switches preferred. You will perform EM analysis and design RF components with advanced simulation tools. Responsibilities
Integrate filters with RF front end modules for optimal performance Design embedded antenna multiplexers for multi-band operations Conduct EM analysis of RF assemblies using HFSS Qualifications
PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or MS with 6+ years, BS with 8+ years experience in RF assemblies or multi-chip modules Excellent communication skills Positive attitude Deep understanding of RF/microwave theories (S-parameters, transmission lines, etc.) Experience with on-die passives, RF lab equipment Preferred Qualifications
Design of acoustic filters Scripting for EM simulation automation Resolving simulation issues Experience with thermal/multiphysics simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, ADS) #LI-BW1 The typical base pay range in the U.S. is USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year, depending on experience, skills, and location. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off, and performance-based incentives. Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer and accessible workplace.
