East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Credit Reviewer. The Senior Credit Reviewer will conduct loan and credit file reviews to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Banks credit risk management policies and processes (e.g., loan classification, loan risk grading, identification of potential credit weaknesses, etc.). Responsibilities Obtain evidence through loan files, Relationship Managers, and management; explain IARs position in a factual, non-judgmental, and unbiased manner. Ensure documentation of asset reviews is complete and conclusions are supported, with work papers that are clear and self-explanatory. Be knowledgeable of IAR policies, procedures, and the Banks lending policies, guidelines, and practices. Be aware of applicable federal and state banking regulations related to credit risk management and governance. Monitor assigned product-based portfolios continuously. Build rapport with Relationship Managers and other departments for efficient asset reviews. Understand the impact of regulatory, economic, and industry developments on the Banks credit risk profile. Execute on special projects and other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
Prior underwriting and lending experience in C&I loans. Internal transfers preferred. Bachelor's or Masters degree in related fields or recognized professional certifications. Experience in financial services or with a regulatory agency, with demonstrated credit risk management expertise. Strong analytical skills, including cash flow analysis and collateral review. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications. Ability to build credible relationships with management and external parties. Understanding of review planning, risk assessment, and project management. Flexible, organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
Compensation
The base pay range is USD $110,000.00 to USD $170,000.00 per year, based on experience and location. Additional Details
