Further details will be provided by our recruitment team. Job Summary: We are seeking a Credit Examiner to assess enterprise-wide risk management practices. The role involves evaluating, monitoring, and reporting on the quality of risk assets and the effectiveness of controls related to credit, trading, and concentration risks within complex portfolios. The examiner will provide prompt feedback to management based on monitoring and examination activities, focusing on higher risk issues and complex portfolios. Major Responsibilities: Monitor risk asset portfolios to identify deterioration or negative trends and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Develop Risk Profile & Monitoring Plans to outline key risk factors and allocate resources accordingly. Analyze individual credits and credit relationships for quality, compliance, and documentation accuracy. Evaluate credit risk process controls by analyzing credit files, financial documents, industry trends, and risk potential. Assess MIS data for adverse trends in performance indicators. Serve as Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) for complex portfolios or processes, overseeing on-site activities. Ensure quality control in transactional reviews and examination work. Prepare concise examination reports and follow up on outstanding issues. Provide guidance on credit policies and control procedures. Write clear reports for senior management to support risk management results. Communicate sensitive issues effectively at the highest management levels. Lead, train, and guide other examiners. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience, including significant lending/examination expertise. Expertise in commercial real estate and commercial lending examinations. Broad knowledge of Oil & Gas, Project Finance, Power & Utilities, Asset-Based Lending, Leasing, and Structured Finance across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Asia. Understanding of credit processes, lending policies, and current financial environments. Experience in credit-related fields with risk management techniques. Strong understanding of credit processes and controls. Knowledge of examination techniques and principles. Skills in credit and financial statement analysis, with market understanding. Knowledge of corporate finance concepts. Ability to analyze macro portfolio trends and identify risk signals. Strong leadership and communication skills, both oral and written. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business or related field. The typical base pay range is $122K - $164K, depending on experience and location.
