Position Overview
Director of Front-End Revenue Cycle – Foundation Practices (Valley Service Areas)
The Director will oversee all front-end revenue cycle functions, including patient access, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and point-of-service collections for our physician practice operations. Initiatives include performance improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices to optimize patient experience and revenue integrity.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in front-end revenue cycle operations within a multi-site physician group or healthcare system, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. This role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders.
Responsible for enhancing and maintaining a properly functioning revenue cycle process through a cross-department organizational structure. Critical responsibilities include achievement of annual and periodic goals for significant statistical indicators of revenue cycle performance and for the overall financial performance and protecting the assets of organization. Responsible for management and performance of vendor relationships requiring knowledge of issues regarding third party payor reimbursement, billing compliance, and accounts receivable management. Participates in service agreement negotiations, service performance analysis, and development of monitoring and reporting methodology.

Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field

Skills And Knowledge
Working knowledge in the areas of patient registration, billing, accounts receivable (AR) and cash management requirements, managed care contractual terms and requirements, health insurance practices, industry regulatory requirements, business office operations, AR and financial reporting technology, wage and hour regulations, basic accounting, and industry standards for healthcare revenue resolution management practices.
Financial management skills, including the ability to financially analyze data for operations, budgeting, auditing, forecasting; basic accounting knowledge; AR and reserve analysis, market analysis; staffing and financial reporting skills.
Ability to utilize detailed/complex information technology to maximize the efficiency and quality of revenue cycle activities; analyze and interpret complex data and draw logical conclusions to develop and address revenue cycle operational processes.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence, with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to motivate and engage others.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees.
Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources.

Pay Range is $75.45 to $120.73 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
