Mission Critical Electrical Engineer
to join our team. Responsibilities include:
Perform analysis, design, and documentation of building electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, generators, UPS, grounding, and lighting systems. Experience with medium voltage (35-15KV) power systems is a plus. Independently provide a full range of electrical engineering services on small to medium-sized projects. Revise, review, and coordinate construction documents. Mentor and train junior staff. Develop solutions for electrical power distribution challenges within integrated architecture and engineering project teams. Contribute to sustainable design initiatives using software for electrical loads, short circuit analysis, generator loads, and lighting calculations. Ideal candidate qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience designing electrical power distribution and lighting systems for data centers, with additional experience in government, research labs, or higher education projects a plus. LEED AP and Engineering-in-Training certifications preferred; pursuing PE license is desirable. Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; experience with SKM systems is a plus.
