Job Description/Preferred Qualifications KLA seeks a motivated engineer for the elite algorithm group within the reticle product division (RAPID). Responsibilities include applying image processing, computer vision, and software engineering skills to develop algorithms for KLA's inspection platforms. This involves optical imaging modeling, image segmentation, classification, and detection, abstracting tasks into mathematical problems and finding solutions. Candidates are encouraged to bring creative ideas, develop production code, and support hardware teams by advising on image quality and error budgets. Significant experience in C++ and object-oriented programming is critical. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also desired.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD, MS, or Bachelor in EE, Computer Science, Applied Math, or related field

Doctorate (academic) degree with no work experience; Master’s with 3 years of related experience; Bachelor’s with 5 years of related experience
