Actuarial Manager, Insurance Predictive Modeling We are seeking an experienced predictive modeling expert to lead all aspects of building and operationalizing predictive models in insurance operations. This is a new team, offering significant influence over its direction, structure, and vision. The role is high visibility and high exposure, with opportunities to deliver tangible value quickly. What You’ll Do: Develop and oversee the creation of predictive models for actuarial and insurance applications. Hire, train, and supervise staff; set goals; conduct performance reviews; and manage employee changes such as salary adjustments, promotions, and terminations. Collaborate with Actuarial, Product Management, Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal teams to develop relevant models addressing real challenges. Coordinate with IT and Data & Analytics teams to ensure access to necessary data for modeling. Create training and upskilling programs to keep the team current with evolving technology and tools. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, actuarial science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. 10+ years of experience in actuarial or predictive modeling roles. 6+ years of statistical or actuarial modeling experience. Strong technical knowledge of predictive modeling techniques and principles. Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools. Radar/Emblem experience is a plus.
