Peraton is seeking an experienced Microsoft Developer and Integration Engineer to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia. The role involves delivering engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of products and services to support our client's global missions. The candidate must have demonstrated experience utilizing .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet client requirements. The successful candidate will develop, integrate, and enhance applications using Microsoft technologies and contribute to innovative solutions for our clients. Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Azure and other Microsoft technologies. Analyze business requirements, migrate existing on-premises applications to Azure cloud, and integrate them with other application services. Engage with customers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives for large complex developments. Reformulate existing code to adhere to guidelines and check for errors or omissions. Design, develop, and optimize applications and systems integration, including analytics, large data manipulation, real-time systems, and business management platforms. Streamline and secure applications, storage, and servers. Provide input into system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and software reuse strategies. Develop and execute test cases to ensure system functionality and performance. Install, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance issues. Analyze business requirements to determine technology needs and stay updated on new trends and innovations. Apply advanced software engineering methodologies for enterprise environments. Develop and maintain documentation including processes, procedures, test cases, and user guidelines. *Travel within the National Capital Region may be required as needed.* **Position contingent on contract award.** Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass CI Poly. Minimum 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 6 years with a Master's, or 3 years with a PhD). Proven experience as a Microsoft Developer with relevant certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, Azure). Experience with software development best practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance. Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Knowledge of big data tools (Elasticsearch, Splunk, NiFi, Kafka). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of NoSQL/SQL databases. Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD tools, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, ETL, and AI/ML. **Security Clearance:** US Citizenship required to hold an active TS/SCI and obtain a CI Poly clearance.
