About The Company Biolinq is a venture-backed digital health company developing a wearable biosensor platform for managing clinical conditions like diabetes. This role involves developing intradermal biosensor technology and related software SDKs. Job Purpose This role involves working with a team of engineers and scientists on biosensor technology development and commercialization, collaborating across departments to define and execute software requirements. Duties And Responsibilities Lead and develop tested software within your discipline and language specialty. Solve engineering problems for microservices or applications. Define software requirements with stakeholders. Estimate load capacity, response time, and UI responsiveness; identify bottlenecks. Communicate trade-offs in system design and make optimal choices. Estimate project timelines accurately. Propose and implement projects aligned with company strategies. Serve as technical lead on key projects. Maintain unit tests and documentation for regulatory compliance. Support existing software through bug fixes and feature enhancements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in at least one software discipline and language (e.g., mobile, server, GUI; GO, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin). BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related, with over 8 years of experience. Experience supporting applications in production. Knowledge of software principles for solving ambiguous problems. Experience with medical device software quality systems. Mastery of threading, design principles, and Agile in regulated environments. Collaborative problem-solving skills. Working Conditions Office or lab environment, with some travel (~10%). Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and see/talk/hear. May lift/move up to 15 pounds.
