As a Senior Credit Officer with the Equipment Finance Group, you will provide Credit Support Services for equipment finance business lines and assist in managing credit risk. Your responsibilities include performing credit analysis on small to middle ticket credit applications, analyzing financial statements and credit reports, and preparing formal credit memos with recommendations for the Credit Manager or Loan Committee. Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform credit analysis on credit applications up to $5,000,000. Conduct financial statement, cash flow, and projection analysis. Analyze consumer and commercial credit reports. Communicate credit decisions clearly and promptly. Gather relevant data regarding the business, guarantor, exposure, and collateral; communicate with internal and external customers. Identify applicants with minor weaknesses and apply structuring techniques such as rate enhancements, down payments, additional collateral, and term reduction; present strengths and weaknesses. Prepare credit memos and present recommendations. Request necessary documentation based on transaction size and legal structure. Provide due diligence on portfolio acquisitions. Review and approve Source programs. Perform annual reviews for Obligors and Sources. Communicate credit underwriting strategies and practices. Engage with team members, customers, sources, legal advisors, executives, and sales representatives on opportunities and programs. Understand and adhere to EF policies. Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or related credit underwriting training preferred. At least 7 years of experience analyzing financial statements for transactions up to $5 million. Strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office. Telecommuting may be an option. Additional Details
