Summary As a member of the CFO’s Finance Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for enhancing relationships with our Portfolio Company’s Finance Teams (“PortCo Finance Team”) and executing on our four key pillars: enterprise performance management, finance strategy, finance operations, and pre/post-merger finance support. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, challenge the status quo, and develop innovative approaches to create value. Responsibilities
Enterprise performance management:
Support PortCo Finance Team transformation initiatives related to financial close and consolidation, planning, budgeting and forecasting, data analytics, and business intelligence, including financial reporting.
Finance strategy:
Contribute to PortCo Finance Team strategy to reduce costs and enhance operational effectiveness and capabilities, including shared service centers.
Finance operations:
Support Finance Teams as interim controller, collaborate across functions to transform processes, lead audit readiness, conduct technical accounting research, and develop expertise in PortCo Finance operations.
Pre/post-merger finance support:
Assist with pre-close finance assessments, post-close integration planning, and implementing Day One and 100-Day plans.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
Active CPA license preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in public accounting, consulting, banking, or industry.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel and broad systems knowledge, including accounting, BI, financial reporting, and data warehousing.
Ability to build cross-departmental partnerships and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
Additional Details The estimated salary range for California-based hires is $150,000 to $165,000 annually.
