Cloud System Administrator
to support its government customer in
Annapolis Junction . The role involves providing systems administration for NiFi systems, system testing, and maintenance support. The Administrator will perform system configuration, monitoring, dataflow development, troubleshooting, and corrective actions to ensure operational readiness of DDS operations. The Systems Administrator I will configure and maintain production and pre-production servers, research and initiate IT equipment purchases, facilitate equipment transfers, and identify Power, Space, and Cooling (PSC) requirements. Additional responsibilities include user support for NiFi via phone and email, training, outreach, and supporting Linux servers with services such as VMWare, VDI, DNS/DHCP, and antivirus protection. The role also involves monitoring and troubleshooting Linux systems, performing system upgrades, applying patches, maintaining documentation, coordinating hardware maintenance, and contributing to enterprise modernization efforts. Position Requirements:
Practiced with scripting and system administration automation using SALT Experience with implementing hardware architecture Linux expertise, including performance tuning and kernel-level settings for TCP optimization Experience with NiFi functionality Understanding of analytical needs and requirements Familiarity with installation and configuration in FOSS/COTS/GOTS environments Participation in analyzing hardware/software needs and client requirements reviews
