In the role of ICT (Information & Communication Technology)/Security Designer I, you'll be responsible for: Having a strong general engineering knowledge of telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling) or electronic security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, etc.), including operational coordination with commercial hardware. Designing cabling pathways such as conduits or cable tray systems and proper bonding systems. Meeting with project clients to evaluate, define, and review customer needs/objectives, ensuring these requirements are met within the project design. Developing complete project-related construction documents, including all design documents (SD, DD, CD), to show design intent and project specifications, and assisting with system-related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities. Coordinating with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project-related requirements. Editing telecommunication or security specifications specific to each project. Maintaining knowledge of current industry product offerings and researching emerging technologies. Assisting in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting during field support. Performing other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Engineering Bachelor's degree; RCDD certification preferred. Entry-level to 5 years of related experience. Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and work within schedule and budget constraints. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks with attention to detail and quality. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace; familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is a bonus. Quick learner of new applications. Knowledge of engineering drawings, design standards, and practices. Strong desire for continuous learning and professional development. Applicants must be eligible for a government security clearance. Local candidates are preferred. Required Qualifications
