Location: Dallas, TX Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be in Dallas or willing to travel to Dallas for the workweek. Job Overview: The Cloud Security Engineer will assist with the development and implementation of AWS cloud security architectures to protect PCI/PII/PHI data deployed across various cloud, on-premises, and hybrid systems. The role involves contributing to the implementation of global security cloud architecture. Required Tool/Technology Experience: Implement security architectures for cloud/hybrid systems Document implementations through technical documentation and run-books for clients Provide input and feedback on security architectures Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings and capabilities Experience with systems automation platforms and technologies Represent the Security Platform in developing and implementing global cloud enterprise architecture Customer-facing role, including architecture walkthroughs and implementation planning with stakeholders Qualifications: College degree or equivalent and 5 years of related work experience (required) 2-4 years' experience as a Security Architect and/or Engineer 2-3 years' experience with AWS Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery techniques (preferred) Architecting solutions within AWS, including VPC Networking, IAM, KMS, CloudFormation, EC2, API Gateway, Kubernetes, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda Expertise in infrastructure-as-code solutions and cloud security capabilities (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Groups, IAM, etc.) Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JSON, Ruby, C#, PowerShell, YAML Experience with Agile practices like Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD (preferred) Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management tools (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) Experience supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting Knowledge of secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, IAM, network security in cloud environments Familiarity with cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID) Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud services Experience with cloud security and governance tools, CASBs, virtualization technologies Experience with threat modeling and security design reviews Ability to communicate technical viewpoints effectively to diverse audiences Experience with enterprise architecture and cross-functional team collaboration Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team Technical writing experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
