We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our hybrid IT environment, including Citrix infrastructure, on-premise systems, cloud services (AWS and Azure), and internal user support. This role requires a hands-on technical expert with knowledge in Citrix XenApp, Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and automation scripting. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, tier III support, and contribute to a high-performing IT infrastructure that enables business operations across a global workforce. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical SME for Citrix environments (XenApp, XenDesktop, Metaframe, EdgeSight, StoreFront, Web Interface, Receiver/Client Plugins), managing operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Manage Citrix policies, SSL VPN configurations, and multi-factor authentication (2FA) solutions. Monitor and resolve complex issues in the Citrix environment and related infrastructure; serve as escalation point. Administer core Microsoft infrastructure services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File/Print) and Windows Server platforms (2012-2022). Deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers in VMware vSphere, including HA, disaster recovery, and storage management. Support cloud initiatives in AWS and Azure, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization. Automate system administration using PowerShell and Python, including REST API integration. Provide Tier III support and mentor Tier I/II staff; participate in on-call rotations. Ensure smooth IT operations across local and global teams, supporting workstations, conference rooms, and IT assets. Manage IT ticket queues, document resolutions, procedures, and configurations. Support onboarding with user account provisioning and hardware/software setup. Lead or consult on IT projects involving upgrades and technology rollouts. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization. Maintain compliance with patching, backup, and security policies. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure. Requirements:
5+ years in system administration. Advanced knowledge of Citrix, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO management. Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and enterprise storage. Proficiency in PowerShell and Python; REST API experience. Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), virtualization, networking. Ability to manage complex IT environments, mentor support teams, and manage escalations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications (Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, AWS/Azure) are a plus. Qualifications:
