USC/GC only. NO H1Bs/OPTs/CPTs About The Role Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure Java-based microservices. Refactor and modernize existing legacy applications into a cloud-native architecture. Work with Kafka to implement real-time event-driven data streaming. Integrate MongoDB as the primary database, migrating data from Oracle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end software development. Implement best practices in software engineering, performance optimization, and security. Debug and resolve complex application issues in a production environment. Work in an Agile development environment and participate in sprint planning. Responsibilities Java (8/11/17) – Strong proficiency in Java-based back-end development. Spring Boot – Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices. Cloud Technologies – Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Microservices Architecture – Expertise in developing and deploying containerized applications. Kafka – Hands-on experience in event-driven architectures and message streaming. MongoDB – Experience with NoSQL databases and migration from relational databases. Required Skills React.js – Familiarity with front-end development to support full-stack integration. Docker/Kubernetes – Experience with container orchestration. CI/CD Pipelines – Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools. Financial Industry Experience – Knowledge of risk control, wire transactions, or payment processing. The Modernization Involves Building microservices Migrating from Oracle to MongoDB Implementing event-driven architecture with Kafka Cloud adoption Preferred Skills Work on a high-impact financial application modernization project.
