Application Developer

SpaceNav is seeking an experienced software development engineer who is self-motivated and a team player. SpaceNav develops mission-critical flight dynamics applications used to support satellite operations. The software engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying mathematically intensive software applications. A strong background in software engineering and mathematics is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently at times and to collaborate effectively with professionals across various sectors. Responsibilities Develop and test flight dynamics applications. Translate mathematically intensive algorithms into software requirements and test specifications. Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to develop software requirements and support design artifacts. Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics. At least 3 years of programming experience in C/C++. Understanding of containers and infrastructure automation. Strong background in object-oriented programming. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
