The ServiceNow Developer will deliver enhancements to the ITSM suite, develop Service Catalog forms, implement Integration Hub spokes, develop new integrations, and maintain the overall health of the ServiceNow environment. The developer will also participate in user support and education as needed. This position is full-time on-site in Houston, Texas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Upgrade and maintain existing ServiceNow system, including custom code and integrations. Support Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Request, and other ServiceNow modules. Create complex Service Catalog forms. Deploy Integration Hub Spokes as needed. Develop custom code and integrations through scripts and process flows. Support the Virtual Agent. Deploy new ServiceNow modules. Maintain foundation data as needed within the system. Provide end-user support and guidance on process improvement. Participate in on-call rotation. Experience with FSM, CSM, SPM, and APO modules is a plus.

Other Duties

Provide clear documentation of work and guide users in establishing requirements based on best practices. Deliver one-on-one end-user training and support for ITIL processes as implemented in the Remedy ITSM system. Work within established software development lifecycle methodologies in a team setting. Solve complex problems by understanding user requirements and following through with thorough, well-tested solutions. Perform testing and deployment to production following best practices.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of relevant job experience. High proficiency with ServiceNow. Willingness to work on-site in Houston, Texas during core business hours.

Experience levels vary by job level: Specialist/Analyst: 2-5 years of relevant experience. Senior Specialist/Analyst: 5-8 years of relevant experience. Lead Specialist/Analyst: 8+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Implementation Specialist, or Application Developer (preferred). ITIL Foundation Certification or higher (preferred). Experience with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and SQL. Knowledge of integrations with SAP, Sailpoint, Ansible, SCCM, Active Directory, etc. Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment. Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
