General Job Description:

The Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain a client base, manage sales, and oversee field labor for each project. The Project Manager will exercise judgment and discretion in representing the company. He/she is expected to demonstrate a high level of commitment and involvement with their work and the company's business.

Project Engineers and Project Coordinators

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management: The Project Manager is the primary point of responsibility to ACCO and the customer. Perform all project management functions required to promote and finalize sales, including concept engineering, estimates, proposals, meetings, and successful project completion. Manage contracts effectively, covering sales, estimating, procurement, and execution. Schedule field labor and installation sequencing. Financial Understanding: Forecast, prepare budgets, and control costs within agreed limits. Prepare letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders, and strategies for sound business procedures and legal protection. Manage billing and understand job costs. Relationship Building: Externally—lead client meetings, develop contracts, and maintain cordial relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Internally—supervise and coordinate efforts across departments including Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service. Participate in studies, committees, and initiatives to enhance ACCO's technical and operational capabilities. Effective Communication: Consult with management and department heads. Attend project management, sales, and construction meetings. Coordinate pre-construction meetings with relevant departments. Utilize internal resources effectively. Manage and supervise staff from all departments during the project lifecycle. Mentoring: Actively mentor others, participate in recruiting, training, and coaching. Other Duties: Perform other duties and special assignments as directed by upper management to achieve mutual goals. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and project management for projects ranging from $50,000 to over $25 million. Ability to work independently and autonomously. High integrity and demonstrated ability to develop new business. Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with excellent organizational abilities. Active involvement in industry or community organizations. ACCO Competencies: Proactivity / Initiative:

Identifies and resolves issues efficiently. Physical Requirements: Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. Regularly talk and hear; frequently stand, walk, sit, and use hands. Occasionally reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must possess a valid class "C" driver's license and be able to drive. Maintain regular attendance. Work Hours & Travel: Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm. Travel as needed to offices and job sites. Compensation: $72,000 to $108,000 annually, based on skills, experience, certifications, education, and location. Compensation includes more than salary alone.
