Take the next step in your career by joining our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Civil/Industrial Project Manager - Water/Wastewater. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage complex water and wastewater projects, working with a diverse team of professionals in the construction industry. This role is perfect for those who love challenges, are passionate about the environment, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution.

Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all project activities align with these plans.

Coordinate and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through to final construction, ensuring all works are carried out according to design specifications.

Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project, ensuring any changes are documented and communicated to all relevant parties.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of project progress and changes.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the heavy civil/industrial construction sector.

Proven experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects, including experience with underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete, process piping, mechanical piping, and yard piping.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee a team of professionals.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively and efficiently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects.

Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.

A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
