Senior AI Program Director
in Washington. This role offers the opportunity to lead an enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence (AI) program, focusing on creating measurable value through AI-enabled products and workflows. You will define AI strategy, manage a portfolio of initiatives, and drive firm-wide adoption across multiple teams and business functions. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders, guiding responsible AI governance, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards, and overseeing the successful implementation of AI solutions. You will also support client-facing initiatives, mentor teams, and use metrics to continuously improve adoption and performance. Accountabilities
Lead the firm-wide AI program, including strategy, product portfolio management, and roadmap development
Oversee cross-functional AI product teams to deliver high-impact AI-enabled solutions
Establish KPIs and measurement plans, leveraging analytics and feedback loops to optimize product performance
Drive firm-wide adoption and change management through training, communities of practice, and champions networks
Support client engagement, RFP responses, and alignment with external guidelines and policies
Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and Information Governance to ensure safe, compliant, and responsible AI usage
Manage program operations, vendor relationships, resourcing, and budget for AI initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or JD preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in technology or innovation, including 5+ years leading cross-functional programs or products
Proven experience managing AI or advanced automation solutions, from discovery to roadmaps, MVPs, and product analytics
Strong expertise in AI adoption, change management, and metrics-driven performance improvement
Knowledge of large language model (LLM)-enabled solutions, model lifecycle management, and enterprise AI delivery
Experience with responsible AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001) and familiarity with AI regulatory obligations (e.g., EU AI Act)
Strong understanding of information security, privacy, and vendor risk management in AI contexts
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
