Opportunity We are looking for an outstanding Lead Applied ML Research Engineer to research, design, develop and deliver high-profile products that span GenAI features and customization of GenAI Firefly models to empower the next generation of enterprise creators and marketers everywhere by turning creative intent into creative success. As an Applied Research Engineer, you will be the bridge between SOTA research, industry, and real-world applications shaping the future of our core Intelligence Layer powering these GenAI features for enterprises around the world.
Responsibilities
Research, train, and deploy SOTA ML models for enterprise use-cases
Leverage LLMs to analyze complex data and build advanced knowledge-extraction and insight-generation systems
Explore and iterate on emerging LLM techniques to advance the frontier of Context Engineering
Build and optimize agentic AI workflows that enable users to dynamically interact and refine outputs from ML systems
Develop scalable frameworks to evaluate the accuracy, robustness and usability of complex AI agents
Partner closely with product, UX, business development and strategic partners to translate AI innovations into enterprise-grade features
Collaborate with AI Research team to constantly explore and evaluate emerging AI technologies and transform research ideas into interactive prototypes
Requirements
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
8+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying ML models in production
Demonstrated expertise in training, finetuning, optimizing LLMs / large-scale models
Proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of leading ML frameworks and libraries
Strong passion for AI‑driven innovation and a track record of delivering impactful, production‑grade AI solutions
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $162,000 -- $301,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
