About The Role In the camera software team, you will have the opportunity to work on system and software architecture, develop new imaging features, and work with different ecosystems such as Android, Linux, and Windows. This can include working on the camera framework, HAL, device drivers, algorithm design and development, optimizing software for performance and power, development of unit tests, and working with our partners and OEMs. The role also presents opportunities to advance your career with cutting‑edge image analysis and post‑processing techniques, camera sensors, motion compensation, and AI/ML techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of relevant camera software experience.

1+ year programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems knowledge.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of Camera to assist in the design, development, debug, implementation, and verification of camera software and algorithms.

Assist in the design or architecture of IQ modules, algorithms, and feature decompositions for both hardware and software.

Assist in ensuring that image quality, software conformance tests, and performance and power metrics are met to deliver camera software to customers.

Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement camera software.

Write technical documentation and feature descriptions for Camera SW projects.

Level Of Responsibility

Works under supervision.

Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.

Compensation $98,900.00 - $148,300.00
