SAP Finance - Tech Consulting - Oil & Gas - SAP Retail Fuel - Senior Location: Anywhere in Country

In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations, translate requirements into technical specifications, and design system architecture solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support workstream delivery and manage processes and solutions.

Track deliverable completion and project status to ensure alignment with performance objectives.

Lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure in client working sessions.

Hands‑on experience in SDM (Secondary Distribution Management), PAT (Process Automation Toolset), RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operation), Data Collation, including the Rack Ticket feature using Process Ticket.

Gather and define detailed functional requirements for IS‑Oil SDM and RFNO modules.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.

Support UAT activities and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business readiness.

Provide leadership during rollout and support the business during go‑live.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).

Typically 4–6 years relevant experience.

System configuration experience and proficiency in system development lifecycle.

Knowledge of technology business architecture frameworks.

Willingness to travel 80% of the time to meet client needs.

4–6 years of experience with SAP IS‑Oil.

Deep functional expertise in Secondary Distribution Management (SDM) and Retail Fuel Network Operations (RFNO).

At least two end‑to‑end implementations involving SDM and RFNO as a Functional Lead or Solution Architect.

Strong experience gathering business requirements and converting them into functional specs, bridging the gap between functional and technical teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Exposure to at least one full‑cycle implementation of your core module.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience managing client relationships and expectations.

A strong background in technology analysis and implementation.

Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.

Prior consulting industry experience.

SAP certifications.

Experience leading cross‑functional teams.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
