The role is located in Vandenberg SFB, CA.
What You Will Do
Manage and lead multiple campaign teams consisting of flight test engineers who perform system‑level tests on the Sentinel Aerospace Vehicle and Launch Equipment.
Lead or direct test operations to prepare missile launch equipment and air vehicle equipment for flight test, developing detailed test procedures and conducting acceptance testing.
Oversee control account managers, statement of work mapping, contract compliance, company policy adherence, metrics collection, and reporting.
Develop, perform, and document tests, including test planning, conduct, data analysis, and post‑test results as part of the Flight Test Team.
Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, schedule, risk, and supportability/effectiveness analyses for systems.
Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness and compliance of the test program.
Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, modeling and simulation, and performance analysis.
Support all phases of the system lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.
Create technical reports and present test and analysis results.
Coordinate integrated testing activities in a dynamic, people‑focused environment.
Design, build, procure, maintain, prepare, and/or use flight test infrastructure, support equipment, and missile weapon system hardware and software.
Interface with internal and external customers.

Position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80: employees work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree with 6 years of related experience.
US citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) and the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
2+ years of flight test experience.
Experience managing projects and associated costs, schedules, and technical performance.
Nice to Have
Experience managing groups of 10+ employees.
Experience managing small‑to‑medium size teams.
Active Top Secret clearance granted within the last 6 years.
Prior ICBM or missile/rocket flight test experience with a successful track record.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills.
Strong partnership/collaboration skills across IPTs and disciplines.
Strong program technical leadership skills.
Familiarity with test telemetry, system safety, and range safety processes and systems.
Demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones.
Ability to integrate, engage, and lead teams to top performance.
Ability to bring alternative ideas/solutions to the team.
Primary Level Salary Range: $170,000.00 – $255,000.00. The above range is a general guideline; final compensation is based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
