PetVet Care Centers We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Relief (PRN) Veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, reporting directly to the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager. Hospital Overview:
Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital has been providing families and their pets with excellent veterinary care since 1956. We are a full-service animal hospital offering services such as wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, and overnight boarding for cats. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical services help accurately diagnose your pet’s medical conditions. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Grass Valley is a picturesque town rich in California's gold mining history. Located just 1.5 hours from Lake Tahoe and 1 hour from Sacramento, it offers a desirable lifestyle with numerous opportunities and amenities. Compensation:
$1,100 - $1,300 per day Qualifications:
Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university Current State Veterinary License DEA registration (must be obtained and maintained) 1+ years of veterinary practice experience Strong diagnostic, clinical, surgical, and dental skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care Additional Information:
Pay Range: $1,100—$1,300 USD PetVet Care Centers operates over 450 hospitals nationwide, employing more than 11,000 people, including over 800 veterinarians.
