Executive Consultant/Chief of Staff
The Executive Consultant/Chief of Staff helps lead and support the executive team in managing their operating model. They use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to support the daily operations of an organization through the market planning cycle/business rhythm of meetings. They collaborate with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies and manage the executive team's performance.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Supporting the KPCO Market Leadership Team (MLT), comprised of the Executive Medical Director (EMD), the Regional President (RP), and the KPCO Leadership Team, in the management and expansion of organizational operations, strategy, and the implementation of the operating model, and communicating this work to key stakeholders.
Support EMD and RP to build and support a high-functioning, cohesive executive team aligned on norms, ways of working, and core priorities.
Anticipates upcoming needs or risks to the business and creates opportunities for the leadership team to focus on addressing them.
Coordinates CPMG board meeting agendas, planning, and standard work to align with market priorities and strategy, as well as KPMF performance/assignments monitoring and feedback collection from MLT.
Partners closely with the KP Medical Foundation and the Market Strategy team to align agendas and work of the executive team with the Market Strategy and the Medical Foundation.
Agenda planning and facilitation for executive forums includes preparing business cases, identifying initiatives for decision-making, and securing approvals. Anticipates delays or issues in decisions or approvals and seeks alignment of stakeholders in advance.
Regular cadence status update/accountability review (budget reviews, access reviews, etc.) as part of MLT, CPMG Board, and Care Delivery leadership reviews
Acts as a trusted advisor and partner to the MLT and advises, researches, and investigates issues as they arise.
Seek out external and KP interregional strategies and approaches to inform MLT's strategic direction and strategic planning efforts.
Develop and/or maintain a deep understanding of key metrics to the organization, development and maintenance of market scorecard, alignment with KPMF, program measures, and Market Leadership Team.
Partner in producing MLT (EMD and RP) messaging and communications, with support from Marketing and Communications.
Reports out and partners with Program Office/KPMF on execution plans and priorities as requested.
Supports specified projects as needed
Creates standard templates, processes, charters, and work trackers for use across the market.
Required Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

Exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills. Must be an effective verbal and written communicator and able to scale and adapt communications for a variety of audiences
