In partnership with Baylor College of Medicine since 2013, CHRISTUS Children's recruits and oversees physicians and advanced practice providers. The Department of Pediatrics' Division of Neurology is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner Provider at CHRISTUS Children's, offering a faculty appointment, competitive salary, and benefits. Responsibilities

Obtain detailed patient histories and perform physical examinations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures. Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. Maintain accurate medical records, including orders and progress notes. Provide follow-up care according to established protocols. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families. Collaborate with healthcare team members on patient care management. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Candidate: Master's degree in Nursing. Current RN license in Texas. Texas Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN-NP). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Physician Assistant Candidate: Current PA license with the Texas Medical Board. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. For both roles, experience with pediatric patients with chronic illnesses, knowledge of long-term medication management, and current BLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications are required.
