Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm based in California, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our Education and Facilities Sector. The Senior Project Manager works onsite, leading a construction team in accordance with District and program policies for college construction bond operations. Must be available to interact with key stakeholders on-site. Responsibilities
Resolve complex construction project issues, disputes, and disagreements. Develop, assign, and monitor performance of OARs for construction projects. Review project progress relative to schedules. Assess change orders and their impact on the district. Assist with bid and contract planning. Evaluate bid specifications and project timelines. Monitor project database variances related to scheduling and costs. Verify applications for payment and manage fiscal aspects of projects. Provide direction on schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, and quality. Oversee contracts with architects and consultants. Coordinate with various district departments and external agencies. Resolve disputes and develop internal policies. Participate in risk assessments. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Certification as a Construction Manager (CCM) may substitute education. 15 years of professional project/construction management experience. 5 years managing large programs (> $60 million projects). 5 years in educational, public works, or large commercial projects. Preferred
Experience in business administration, finance, or personnel management. Design Build, BIM, LEED, CHPS experience. Experience with DSA processes. Licenses and Certificates
Valid Architect or Professional Engineer license in California. Salary Range: $180k-$190k/year. Location: Los Angeles, CA - 100% onsite. About Cordoba Corporation
