Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking a Growth Leader to support Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) operations in the Western U.S. This role requires knowledge of market trends, competitive dynamics, and BC's brand, to leverage opportunities for sales growth. The leader will collaborate with Area Directors/Area Growth Leaders and the West Business Unit Growth Director to develop and implement an IPD strategy aligning with growth targets across portfolios. Partnering with the IPD Enterprise team, the focus will be on expanding a profitable IPD portfolio while adhering to established processes concerning risk, commercial strategies, and contractor negotiations. Remote work is permitted. Ideally, the candidate would be located near one of the Western US offices in Los Angeles, Irvine, San Francisco, Seattle, Honolulu, Denver, or Dallas. Expectations and Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the annual IPD business plan in partnership with leadership, aiming to meet performance metrics aligned with growth objectives. Serve as Client Service Manager and Sales Leader for top clients, enhancing win rates and supporting sales team training. Maintain connectivity with Client Service Managers to gather market and competitor intelligence for strategic positioning. Lead project delivery as Project Manager or Principal in Charge, ensuring project outcomes meet operational goals. Collaborate with IPD Enterprise to enhance contractor relationships and project scope. Share knowledge on market trends, lessons learned, and competitor insights between business units and IPD Enterprise. Co-lead monthly IPD calls to drive actionable outcomes and strategic alignment. Foster talent growth and promote diversity within IPD projects. Implement partnership strategies with operations to align resources with client priorities. Support brand elevation efforts internally and externally. Desired Skills and Experience:
Degree in engineering or related field. 15+ years' experience with recent delivery of collaborative projects in engineering and construction. Experience with commercial strategies and success in converting pursuits into wins. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Existing contractor market links and successful business development history. DBIA certification or commitment to obtain it. Strong leadership skills to motivate and influence teams. Strategic, critical thinking with a willingness to challenge norms. Decisiveness in risk and uncertainty management. Ability to identify market drivers and develop innovative growth solutions. Background in relationship-based sales and proposal development. Understanding of political factors affecting client growth and strategy. Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range varies by location, with the potential for adjustments based on skills and experience. Locations include: Location A: $161,000 - 221,000 Location B: $177,000 - 243,000 Location C: $193,000 - 265,000 Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, bonuses, paid time off, and more.
