About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President, Engineering to lead its product engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire software development process, from architecture to packaging, for both on-premise and SaaS offerings. This role requires a champion for the Voice IVA/IVR, ensuring exceptional customer experience and quick ROI. The VP will also be tasked with delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions within budget and aggressive timelines, leading a geographically diverse team, and driving processes and culture for effective execution. Additionally, the role involves providing a clear vision and roadmap for the engineering organization, participating in R&D leadership, driving innovation, and contributing to M&A strategy and execution.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive management and leadership experience and 15 years' overall engineering experience. The role demands a strong background in agile development, conversational AI, and various technical skills including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, REDIS, DB technologies, AI, LLM, ASR, voice technology, and telecom. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional communication and business acumen. Experience in scaling software solutions for large enterprise deployments, managing distributed teams, and a proven track record in hiring, developing, and retaining strong teams are essential. The VP will also be expected to have the ability to influence executive leadership and to work across a matrixed organization.
