Overview Our high-performing IT software engineering team offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated, hands-on individual to join us. The team executes critical projects supporting growth, profitability, and customer experience. Candidates should be experts in software engineering, demonstrate leadership and creativity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The individual will act as a technical engineering leader, working across release trains with architects and product teams, and developing complex systems as a full-stack development expert. Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot complex, multi-tiered systems across various technical stacks, aligned with business and IT strategies within scheduled timelines and budgets. Guide and mentor less experienced engineers as a technical leader. Apply hands-on technical expertise in coding and debugging across all phases from design to deployment. Establish system non-functional requirements, focusing on performance, tuning, and quality improvements. Debug and troubleshoot complex system, performance, and infrastructure issues. Work within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), collaborating with solution and enterprise architects to shape technical strategy and align release trains. Ensure best practices and standards through regular communication and code reviews, addressing deviations proactively. Identify and modernize technical debt, enhancing existing systems and processes. Advance DevOps practices and improve developer productivity and change management processes. Maintain cross-team alignment through effective communication and contribute to estimates, planning, research, and overall department goals. Qualifications Knowledge and Requirements Excellent communication, analytical thinking, sound judgment, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology, processes, and business models. Experience as a technical leader and mentor. Experience with agile teams and SAFe knowledge preferred. Knowledge of ITIL processes and Site Reliability Engineering concepts preferred. Experience with P&C Insurance is a plus. Education and Experience College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Expertise in enterprise web applications, full-stack development, with skills in C#, .NET, REST APIs, SQL Server, DevOps, and modern development patterns. Salary ranges vary by location and experience. Pay Range USD $133,000 - $184,000/year.
