Job Summary
Amazon Prime is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to play a pivotal role in analyzing customer behavior to guide the evolution of our business strategy. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and presenting actionable insights to management. The ideal candidate will harness one of the world's largest datasets to satisfy customer needs and foster innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate program features and marketing content across various customer response metrics. Perform statistical testing of A/B and multivariate experiments. Design, build, and maintain reports on program health metrics. Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate customer behavior and uncover patterns. Use data mining and model building to identify trends in the customer base.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong command of SQL and data analysis tools. Proven ability to visualize data and narrate storytelling for business insights. Experience with ETL pipelining as well as statistical analysis. – basic how you figure out the root of the problem Other script languages would be nice as well (Python, or something as they do a lot of automation, AWS tools)
Industry Experience
Former Amazon would be a plus in the same type of role
