Location : Dallas, Texas (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)
Duties : Performs various and assigned programming, (i.e. ABAP or JAVA) with a focus on one or more of the following areas as assigned; interfaces, workflow, and forms; works in a project team environment and integrates with the business, functional, technical and other team members in an effort to meet firm project deadlines on RICEFW objects; Develops practices and procedures to manage technologies based on "best practice" standards; Leads effort to develop technical standards to support and operate technologies within the system landscape; Coordinates with business/functional analyst on conversion and interface projects as well as understanding the related business processes; Creates and maintains reports, forms, interfaces, and enhancements as needed for end users; Resolves ABAP programming problems to more efficiently utilize computer resources; Collaborates with team to determine strategy and plan for system implementations and upgrades; May act as back support of Pl or XI Exchange Infrastructure..
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Services or closely related field plus five (5) years’ experience in job offered or five (5) years’ experience in a related occupation in each of the following: principles, methods and techniques used in developing ABAP software programs in SAP; SAP functional areas particularly in SD, MM, FI-CO and HR; Object Oriented programming, Report Writing using ALV and ABAP lists, Sapscripts, Smart forms and Adobe Forms, ABAP Query, Dialog programming, Interfaces, BADIs/BAPIs/RFCs/BTEs, IDocs and ALE/EDI, User exits/enhancements, BDCs, and LSMW; and Workflow configuration and development. Up to 30% domestic travel required.
