Description Nursing Home Facility now seeking an RN as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

Tasks and Responsibilities include working under the supervision of our DON to:
Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care, initiate corrective action as necessary
Assess resident care needs and assist in development of individualized care plans
Conduct resident care conferences
Report problems to the Administrator and the DON
Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary
Conduct staff meetings with all shifts
Assume responsibility for nursing service compliance to federal, state and local regulations; Direct allocation of nursing service equipment and supplies
Supervision and Scheduling
Conduct interviews and hire nursing service employees
Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators
Consistently demonstrate responsibility, accountability, and dependability
Work cooperatively with facility administration, nursing personnel, ancillary personnel, all facility departments
