PracticeLink . West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine are seeking an Infectious Diseases physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV. Responsibilities
Practice adult Infectious Diseases (ID), including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth services. Provide excellent patient care. Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in scholarly activities. About the Division
The ID Division has 14 faculty members with diverse expertise, including health care epidemiology, musculoskeletal infections, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C, antimicrobial stewardship, Transplant ID, telehealth, OPAT, and COpAT. The division is recognized for contributions to education, service, and scholarship, with many faculty receiving teaching awards. The division has an active fellowship program with a 100% ID Board pass rate. Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent. Eligibility for state medical license. Completed Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship. Board certified or eligible in infectious diseases. About WVU Medicine
