We are seeking a full-time/40-hour Associate Medical Director to join our Psychiatric Services Team. This role involves providing psychiatric assessments and services to severely mentally ill adults, acting as a liaison between CSS, the medical community, and State facilities, and supporting the development of the Integrative Care Clinic. Responsibilities Administer somatic therapies, including prescriptions and medication reviews. Monitor physical health of clients via labs and evaluations. Conduct assessments of mentally ill adults. Provide psychiatric evaluations and program consultations. Supervise resident physicians and medical students. Lead interdisciplinary treatment teams. Provide clinical training and consultation to staff. Review effectiveness of adult programs. Coordinate with medical community and facilities. Support development of the Integrative Primary Care Clinic. Ensure safety and least restrictive methods for clients. Refer to specialists as needed. Coordinate physical health treatments. Certify patients for involuntary psychiatric evaluation as per law.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree, completed Psychiatry Residency. At least four years of post-academic experience preferred. Licensed to practice in Ohio; Board eligible in psychiatry. Strong organizational, communication skills. Teamwork and confidentiality commitment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook. Time management skills. Crisis stabilization techniques. Ability to work non-judgmentally with diverse individuals.
