Position Description
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit faculty clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, seeks academic surgical pathologists to join the Department of Pathology. Responsibilities include providing clinical service in surgical pathology subspecialties, teaching, and maintaining an active research program. Candidates with training in molecular genetic pathology or expertise in digital and computational pathology are encouraged to apply. Ranks and salary are commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Provide clinical service in surgical pathology subspecialties including breast, GYN, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, renal, thoracic, lung pathology, and cytopathology. Teach residents, fellows, and medical students. Maintain an active research program as an investigator or in collaboration with clinicians and basic investigators.
Minimum Qualifications
MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent. Board-certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology or related. Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia. Fellowship training or experience in surgical pathology or cytopathology.
Compensation and Benefits
