Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated medical team in Geneva, NY, located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work within both OR and surgical center settings with a focus on quality care and professional work-life balance. Salary:
$200,000 - $225,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and adjust as necessary during surgery. Ensure optimum patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures. Participate in the development and implementation of patient management plans. Maintain complete and accurate records of all anesthesia interventions. Collaborate with the anesthesia team to enhance department efficiency and service delivery. Minimum Position Qualifications: Must hold a current license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). Strong understanding of pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to anesthesia care. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, surgeons, and healthcare staff. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under the pressure of tight schedules. Preferred Qualifications: New graduates of accredited CRNA programs are encouraged to apply, though experience is an asset. Prior experience in OR and surgical center settings. Skills: High level of proficiency in various types of anesthesia delivery systems and monitoring equipment. Exceptional critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and act accordingly. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety and compliance with healthcare protocols. Competency in administering anesthesia to a diverse patient demographic.
