Role Summary
The Clinical Director will lead and provide clinical guidance to a dynamic team of behavior analysts and direct care staff. This role offers the opportunity to drive exceptional clinical outcomes, contribute to professional development, and enhance the quality of service delivery through innovative projects. The Director will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and growth, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while providing guidance and support to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular meetings (weekly or bi-weekly) with assigned Behavior Analysts and lead RBTs to support both clinical and administrative objectives, including:
Monitoring and maintaining staff productivity
Ensuring adequate patient supervision and care
Reviewing clinical reports and providing constructive feedback
Supporting staff in their professional development and progression toward goals
Coaching staff in managing supervisees effectively
Assisting staff in developing effective working relationships with caregivers and community collaborators
Leading and participating in Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Organizing data sets for visual feedback to teams and analyzing them for improvements
Identifying and addressing regional needs in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Operations and RVP
Representing the organization at local events, SIGs, and within the community
Addressing staff performance concerns and collaborating with HR as needed
Collaborating with the Director of Clinical Operations on caseload management and BCBA oversight
Additional Duties and Projects:
Designing and implementing regionally-specific programs
Overseeing RBT certification processes and ongoing training programs
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related field
Current BCBA Certification through the BACB
2-3 years of related experience in the field
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal abilities
Proficient with computer systems and data management
Ability to manage and demonstrate tolerance for maladaptive behaviors exhibited by patients
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in leadership or management within a clinical setting
Familiarity with developing and executing region-specific behavioral programs
Strong organizational and analytical skills for data management and team collaboration
