We are seeking a professional and caring Psychiatrist to join our team! In this role, you will conduct psychological exams and testing, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors through psychotherapeutic methods and medication. If you are an experienced Psychiatrist passionate about providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you! This is a part-time position that could transition to full-time. Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health conditions Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses Create individualized treatment plans for each client Prescribe and monitor medications as part of psychotherapeutic management Deliver therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information, progress, treatment plans, and medications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to best practice development in behavioral health Develop and oversee team members within the Psychiatry department, including PMHNP providers and medical assistants Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited US-based medical school Current medical license and certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Deep knowledge of psychotherapeutic methods and medication management for psychiatric disorders Experience in clinical settings, preferably with geriatrics and PTSD care Strong therapeutic skills, especially in CBT and related modalities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Ability to provide compassionate, supportive patient care Excellent observational and assessment skills with attention to detail Join our team and make a meaningful impact on individuals seeking mental health support!
