Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN) is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join an established practice in Mishawaka, Indiana. The practice includes two full-time and one part-time Infectious Disease physicians, located in a modern Medical Office Building adjacent to the hospital. The practice is consultative, serving both inpatients and outpatients, with cases involving HIV, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infection, bacteremia, and abscesses. Responsibilities
Participate in and lead hospital Infection Prevention, Infection Control, and Sepsis Programs/Committees. Teach hospital family medicine residents. The office is closed every Friday afternoon. Weekend call is 1:4. Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary aligned with MGMA standards, based on production and quality metrics. Health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and retirement benefits. Malpractice insurance paid by the organization, including tail coverage. 27 days off annually, including 7 holidays, 5 days for CME, and a $3,000 CME allowance. $3,000 annually for journals, dues, and memberships.
